Great Lakes Western RR -- Hidden Staging Yards

There are nine hidden tracks in this double ended staging yard.  Interchange trains will be stored there.   The physical location is actually under the benchwork for Hammond.

West Bound Connections
Trains arrive & depart via Rockford

Destinations:
Kansas City
St. Paul

East Bound Connections
Trains arrive & depart via South Bend

Destinations:
Toledo
Fort Wayne

Construction Status:  As of November 2007, all track has been laid and wired for this staging yard.  Turnout switch machines have also been installed, and the control panel to switch trains through the ladder is still being built by Art Mellon.
